20/10/2008, MAN Diesel's Alpha Propellers Ready for Bio-Oil Operation
'Green lubes' for environmentally friendly cp propellers: After comprehensive testing, MAN Diesel has given general approval for the use of Vickers Oils bio-oils with its CP propellers. Accordingly, Vickers biodegradable and non-toxic oils are now accepted by MAN Diesel for use within complete oil systems in the VB and VBS propeller range.
 
04/03/2004, First CP Propellers with Fuel-saving Kappel Blades
MAN B&W Diesel A/S, Alpha, Denmark has been awarded the contract to supply the new MAN B&W Kappel Controllable Pitch Propeller blades as part of Scandlines extensive refurbishment of the ferries M/F PRINS JOACHIM and M/F KRONPRINS FREDERIK.
