- MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Augsburg, and MTU Aero Engines GmbH, Munich, have completed their preparations for the first test run of a new MAN axial compressor at MTU's Munich test stand. This opens the way for the future deployment of a new generation of axial compressors that will enable the economically viable operation of mega processing plants worldwide.

- The manufacturer of large-bore diesel engines and turbomachinery, MAN Diesel & Turbo, is increasingly expanding its business activities across the African continent. The company has received an order for two dual-fuel, large-bore diesel engines of type 18V51/60DF, including the electromechanical equipment for generating electricity, worth some Euro 13 million.

- The Augsburg-based manufacturer of large-bore diesel engines and turbomachinery MAN Diesel & Turbo is supplying the charitable organisation Mercy Ships International with four new 5L21/31 type on-board power generators for a hospital ship.
- 26/03/2010, Merger to form MAN Diesel & Turbo SE complete
- The merger announced between MAN Diesel SE and MAN Turbo AG to form MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, based in Augsburg, is now complete, the corresponding entry having been made in the register of companies. The process of amalgamating the two former MAN sister companies into one enterprise has thus been achieved.
- 08/02/2010, MAN Diesel awarded contract in Brazil
- MAN Diesel, the Augsburg-based manufacturer of large-bore diesel engines, is very successfully expanding its power plants business even in difficult economic times. Grupo Bertin – a large international conglomerate from Brazil – awarded MAN Diesel a contract to supply the electro-mechanical equipment for six diesel power plants. These components include 120 large-bore diesel engines and generators, which together will form the heart of the plants.
